Yeomans has opened a new Nissan showroom in Plymouth.
The dealership is the eighth Nissan site to join the group of family car dealers that have sites throughout the South and Southwest.
The Nissan showroom is located beside Yeomans’ Citroen dealership on Durnford Street, Plymouth, and has room to display seven new cars inside and 40 used cars outside.
The £800,000 investment by Yeomans follows the acquisition of 13 VW Group businesses from Helston Garages in November last year.
The new Nissan site will help the car dealer group reach its £540 million turnover target by 2023.
James Smith, chairman and managing director of Yeomans, said: “I am delighted to be expanding our representation of the exciting Nissan brand.
“This new dealership follows our acquisition of the VW Group brand from Helston Garages last year and sees the group expand further into the south west of England.
“We are excited to showcase exciting Nissan models like the Juke Hybrid, Qashqai with e-POWER and the all-electric ARIYA to the local community.”
The dealership opening will create around 15 jobs in the local area including sales and service.
