‘El Diablo’ Fabio Quartararo and Franco Morbidelli will arrive in the Philippines this March to remember track day. Thousands of people are expected to flock to Clark International Speedway on March 4 for the Yamaha Peak Arrival. After years of waiting, racing fans can finally share the race track with the best Yamaha has to offer in MotoGP.

Early in Fabio’s Grand Prix racing career, he was already a household name. He entered the Moto3 class at only 15 years old. The Frenchman was considered a threat from the start as he was the 2013 and 2014 FIM CEV Moto3 Champion. He achieved his two dreams in 2021, becoming world champion and following in the footsteps of his hero Valentino Rossi by joining the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Team. From his first win with the Factory Team in only his second race, he went on to secure another nine podiums, including four wins, to capture the MotoGP World Championship Title at the Emilia Romagna GP.

Franco Morbidelli, the son of a racer, has been riding a bicycle since he was old enough to walk. His father Livio, a former racer from Italy who built his son his first motorbike when he was just two years old, is the source of his passion for bicycles. Franco’s third season with Petronas Yamaha SRT was set to start in 2021. However, that season was cut short due to a knee injury, a protracted recovery period and the Italian’s eventual move to the Factory Yamaha team. At the San Marino GP, his favorite home circuit, the racer with number 21 made his comeback and debuted with the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP M1.

The event will not only be an exclusive appearance from the duo but also a special track day experience featuring Yamaha’s top racing motorcycles. As an added treat, a lucky draw will be held with the prize being an all-expenses paid trip to watch the Malaysian GP. When greatness arrives at our tracks, their presence will inspire aspiring Filipino riders who dream of being in MotoGP.
