We frequently cover the exciting supercars and hypercars being sold at dealerships around the world. But rarely do we come across ads like this. Someone is selling a 2023 Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 on Craigslist!
The seller has posted some pictures of the car, which appears to be brand new. It has all the protective covers used during transportation intact and is claimed to have only 60 miles on the odometer. As per the listing, the car was located somewhere on Grand Avenue, just off the Pomona Highway in California.
This Lamborghini Countach is one of only 112 built and was introduced as a tribute to the original Countach. It uses a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine paired with a mild hybrid system that uses a supercapacitor instead of conventional lithium-ion batteries. The car can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 220 mph.
Now, this is Craigslist, we can’t vouch for the credibility of this seller. Who in their right mind would take the risk, especially when $3.8 million is on the line. Well, at least not as expensive as the orange Countach listed here.
