WMS Opteven has launched a new Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) warranty as part of its Safe & Sound product range.
A new warranty product has been created for LCVs up to 3.5T, and responds directly to the strong demand for used LCVs.
This is partly driven by the increasing need for delivery drivers across the UK and the rapid increase in the number of self-employed persons, which has helped boost the LCV sector with an estimated 59% growth since 2000. It says there is no mileage limit for the coverage period.
Craig Grant, managing director of Opteven UK said: “With around 900,000 LCVs changing hands in the UK market each year there is a need to continue investing in products to support dealers in meeting customer demand for used LCVs.
“Products like these are important in providing an extra layer of protection in case of the unexpected, especially considering the average age of vans on our roads is eight years. We are proud to launch our LCV warranty and once again, assist retailers in providing quality warranty solutions.”
