The 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) is now underway, with exhibitions and launches from various auto companies taking place from April 13 to 16. This year’s iteration of MIAS was, as always, full of highly anticipated activities and events, from exclusive vehicle trials to product and accessory demos. Several booths also run their own promos with attractive prizes, one car brand even gives two return tickets to El Nido, Palawan.
The opening of MIAS 2023 to the public was enlivened by the presence of mobility supporters Senator Win Gatchalian and JV Ejercito, among other figures. The first day of MIAS also saw the launch of several main models from various car brands, such as the Ford Territory, Subaru Evoltis, and Peugeot, the first electric vehicle offered in the country, the Peugeot e-2008 SUV.
MIAS 2023 is also full of usual treats for any mobility lover. Ahead, the Philippine Automobile Association has an e-racing arrangement for the public to try their hand at racing. Fourteen car brands, including Ford, Subaru, Mitsubishi, and Nissan, have units available for test drives. Even model car collectors will have fun, as there is a collection of Die-Cast cars on display near the truck pavilion.
Visitors are also treated to a modern jeepney experience, because the organizers, in collaboration with Foton, have provided a free shuttle service for MIAS participants. All you have to do is ask for a ride at the shuttle counter outside the dining area, and the friendly driver will even escort you straight to your car – a great convenience since there are no visitors to park in the World Trade Center.
The 2023 Manila International Auto Show takes place from Thursday, April 13 to Sunday, April 16, 2023 at the World Trade Center Manila. Gates are open from 10:00 to 21:00.
