Wessex Ford and TrustFord win NFDA Green Dealer Awards

Wessex Ford and TrustFord were awarded the green dealer of the year at the discontinued NFDA Spring Ball at the Grove in Hertfordshire on Saturday.

Wessex Ford won the Green Dealer Award (Under 10 sites). The award went to managing director Chris Wiseman.

Wessex Garages is a strong supporter of the Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) scheme and was one of the first networks to have all sites accredited.

Trust Ford won the Green Dealer Award (more than 10 sites). The award was presented to Stuart Mustoe, CEO of the Ford Trust, posing for a photo with NFDA chairman David Newman. Trust Ford has been accredited and re-accredited for its sites.

The Industry Personality of the Year Award was won by Darren Edwards, CEO of Sytner for driving innovation in the industry and promoting NFDA to dealers.

The Green Manufacturer of the Year award was won by Kia Motors UK. The award recognizes the steps the brand is taking to work closely with its dealer network and assist retailers in meeting the growing demand for alternative fueled vehicles.

The NFDA Chair Award went to Gavin Forbes, group customer relations manager for Arnold Clark and the Industry Partner of the Year Award went to Auto Trader for his support of the auto retail sector.

The Ball raised over £2000 for the industry charity, BEN through charitable donations.
