Rimac Nevera has been testing at the Nurburgring for the last few days. It remains unclear whether the Croatian automaker is chasing the EV’s lap record or just perfecting the chassis. Either way, it just provides an opportunity to see the world’s fastest electric hypercar spin around one of the world’s greatest race tracks.
The most recent video shows Nevera driving around the Nordschleife on a clear, sunny day. The car was driven at a fairly fast pace, but not in a rage. All you can hear are the tires gripping the asphalt surface.
The Rimac Nevera is powered by four electric motors that have a combined output of 1914 hp and 1741 lb-ft of torque. In a recent test conducted at the Papenburg Automotive Testing facility (ATP), Nevera clocked 0-60 mph in 1.74 seconds and went on to set a new 0-249 mph-0 record.
