Steven Eagell joins the 30% Automotive Club

Steven Eagell, CEO of the Toyota and Lexus dealer group, has become a Silver Member of the Automotive 30% Club

The 30% Automotive Club is a voluntary network of MDs and CEOs in the automotive space that aims to fill at least 30% of key leadership positions in member organizations with diverse women by 2030.

The Steven Eagell Group operates 23 Toyota and 9 Lexus dealerships. The group is ranked 23rd in the Motor Dealers Top 200 Dealer Group with a turnover of £702.7 million, employing 1,077 staff.

Eagell said: “I am delighted to be a Silver Member of the 30% Automotive Club and look forward to building on our partnership with the team to retain and attract the best female talent to our industry.

“Diversity and inclusivity have always been at the heart of our human resources strategy, and we are constantly working to create teams that reflect the communities in which we operate and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

“Since becoming a member of the 30% Automotive Club, we have taken an active role, with various team members contributing to the ‘Inspiration for Innovation’ program, the ‘Inspiring E-zine’ and the ‘Women Automotive Intern Influencer campaign. We are actively encouraging our team to take part in this important initiative.

“Over the last few years, we have seen the tremendous benefits of having a diverse management team. Tailoring our recruitment process to attract more female candidates is also having a huge positive impact and we look forward to keeping the momentum going in this area.
