Rimac Nevera beats Koenigsegg’s 0-249-0 mph record

Rimac Nevera is back in the news! This time, not one but 23 records in one day.

The electric hypercar Nevera set a new world record for the fastest production car by going from 0 to 249 mph and back to 0, beating the previous record set by the Koenigsegg Regera. Nevera did it in 29.94 seconds, while Regera needed 31.49 seconds.

During this run, Nevera went on to beat several other records. It manages to sprint up to 60 mph in 1.74 seconds. 124 mph comes in 4.42 seconds, and reaches 249 mph in 21.32 seconds.

Nevera covered the quarter mile in 8.26 seconds, and her standing mile time was 20.62 seconds.

The record was held at the Papenburg Automotive Testing (ATP) facility. The car used for running has a special livery inspired by Mate Rimac’s E30 BMW e-M3 electric car.
