Ram’s long range EV will help outrun regulation. Lightyear opened a waiting list for its $40,000 model. Goodyear shows tires that are 90% sustainable. This and much more, here at Green Car Reports.

While Ford and GM aim to build both electric and petrol trucks in the coming years, Stellantis plans that plus a remote electric truck from Ram. And as the CEO of Stellantis told Green Car Reports, it’s part of the need to “go ahead of the pack.”

Lightyear has opened a waiting list for its $40,000 Lightyear 2 solar car, due in 2025, with the US targeted as one of its first markets. The company used a wheel motor in the Lightyear 0 and claims the most efficient production EV powertrain.

And Goodyear has demonstrated fuel-efficient tires made from 90% sustainable materials. Low rolling resistance rubber includes 12 different tire components that come from sustainable sources or reduce environmental impact.
