Hyundai will soon, once again, offer electric vehicles via a monthly subscription, with a single payment that includes insurance, roadside assistance and maintenance. Based on 1,000 miles per month, the price of an EV subscription, called Evolve+, starts at $699 per month for the Kona Electric and $899 per month for the Ioniq 5. And of course everything is coordinated via its own smartphone app.
According to VW’s top US executive, the brand is considering a hybrid or plug-in hybrid pickup truck for America. The timing isn’t clear, and the project appears to be closing the door (for now) on the Volkswagen electric truck that had been seriously on the table prior to the formation of the stand-alone Scout brand.
Subaru has confirmed to Green Car Reports that there are no plans for a Crosstrek Hybrid after 2023. The new-generation Crosstrek made its debut on Thursday, and with the recent arrival of the Solterra, and California’s strict requirements for the upcoming plug-in hybrid, this The 17 mile PHEV may be living on borrowed time.
And in two new teaser photos of the Ram 1500 REV production electric truck, truck brand Stellantis indicated on Thursday that the front end of its production EV will likely be very similar to the concept truck revealed last month at CES. More will be revealed on Super Bowl Sunday, February 12.
