Hyundai recently announced the standardization of three-point seat belts and seat belt reminders for all seats across their model range.

This safety improvement initiative comes as part of Hyundai’s ongoing commitment to providing the best safety features for its customers.

In addition to standardizing seat belts, Hyundai has also made significant improvements to its safety features. The company has extended standard six airbags to the Creta, Alcazar, and IONIQ 5 models, in addition to the Tucson and Kona. In addition, the Hyundai Venue has been upgraded with four airbags as standard on the main variant. The Grand i10 Nios and Aura have also been offered with four airbags as standard, while the all-new Hyundai Verna has redefined the safety benchmark in its segment with six airbags as standard.

Hyundai has also strengthened its active safety features by upgrading the Creta and Alcazar with a number of standard active and passive safety features, including Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), and rear disc brakes. In addition, Hyundai has expanded the implementation of the Hyundai Smart Sense Level-two Advanced Safety Technology (ADAS) feature from one model in 2022 (Tucson) to three models (Tucson, IONIQ 5, and the all-new Hyundai Verna) at this time, and plans to expanding it to other popular models in the future.
