Hendy Group has held a special event to mark the achievements of its apprentices.

It currently has 63 interns working at the business and plans to recruit more this year.

Events on the Thruxton motor racing circuit give new interns an insight into Hendy’s business and certificates are awarded to those who have just completed their apprenticeship.

Hendy Group chief executive Paul Hendy, said: “We have interns working across the business and some of our most successful senior managers started their careers with Hendy as interns.

“Our current interns are an integral part of our long-term growth plan and we look forward to seeing them develop as their careers advance.”

The Hendy Group currently has internships in a variety of roles ranging from service technician to customer service, marketing, body shop and social media, reflecting the wide range of opportunities available.

People director Sarah Martyn said: “Success for me is seeing our interns progress into the roles they’ve worked for and continue their development with us,” she says.
