From wild concept to reality; the GMA T.50 supercar has come a long way. Now, it’s all set to enter the next phase of its life as it finally enters production.

The T.50 will be assembled by hand at Gordon Murray Automotive’s facility located in Dunsfold, England. Only 100 examples will be generated. The company recently celebrated the launch of its first monocoque, signed by founder Gordon Murray himself.

The GMA T.50 is a lightweight 3-seater supercar, where the driver sits in the center – a similar setup to the McLaren F1. It is powered by a 3.9 liter naturally aspirated V12 engine made by Cosworth. The engine produces 654 hp @ 11,500 rpm and 344 lb-ft @ 9,000 rpm.

Gordon Murray is also building a track version called the GMA T. 50S Track Speed. It will use the same naturally aspirated V12 engine as the road car. However, the motor will be tuned to make 720 hp and will spin up to 12,000 rpm.

Only 25 copies of the T.50S will be made. It will be offered to those who have already ordered the T.50 road car.
