Based on the CAMPI report, the industry is seeing significant growth in SUVs and MPVs of around 65% and 58%, respectively. Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP) President & CEO of the Corporation Yugo Kiyofuji said, “Geely’s overall sales performance in 2022 has clearly benefited from the popularity and increased demand for larger vehicles last year as more buyers turned to SUVs and MPVs.”
“We are facing a new year with bigger prospects not only for Geely but also for the entire country’s car industry given the significant increase in overall industry sales in 2022. As we target to sell five digits this year, we remain focused on expanding our network especially in the growth area. It’s also an exciting time for Geely because we want to introduce it more models who will continue to change the game in their respective segments,” added Kiyofuji.
