Evolution Funding runs free webinars for dealers and the motor industry.
The hour-long session starting at 2 p.m. on Thursday 18 May will explore what FCA wants to achieve with consumer assignments and how meeting requirements can create opportunities for dealers.
Webinar ‘Consumer Duty for Dealers: A Burden or a Blessing?’ will be hosted by Evolution sales director Keith Bell and head of risk and compliance, Sam Osborn and will feature expert panel discussions.
Taking part is Jo Davis, partner at Auxillias, a law firm specializing in motorcycle and consumer finance. Representing the dealers were Karen Wagstaffe, head of group F&I compliance at Sytner Group, Richard Hubbard, group F&I director at Cambria Autos, and Tom Barcroft, sales director at Auto100.
Sam Osborn, Evolution’s head of risk and compliance, said: “We are excited to host this event, which will provide practical insight into consumer liability and should provide dealers assurance of benefits and opportunities.
“We are fortunate to have an experienced panel joining us and we look forward to having very useful discussions with them.
This webinar is not intended to provide a ‘how-to’ but we recognize that dealers are still trying to understand the consumer’s job and what it means for them and their customers. We aim to explain just that.
