Drive Motor Retail appoints new marketing director

Drive Motor Retail have welcomed Emily Mead to their Operations Board following their promotion to Marketing Director, as the company continues to pursue their ambitious growth plans.

Emily moves into her new role from her previous Marketing Manager position, which she has held since joining Drive in July 2021. She will be Drive’s first female Director.

With over ten years experience in marketing and event management, Emily has been involved in several large-scale strategic projects at Drive over the last two years.

Recently, Emily has been watching rebranding Drive’s used car offeringsdrivedirect, from concept to reality in late 2022. He was also heavily involved in Drive’s transition from single-dealer Vauxhall to multi-franchise group.

Emily said: “I am thrilled to accept this promotion and become Drive’s first female Director of Operations. It’s no secret that motorcycle retail is typically a male-dominated industry at the senior level, so I’m grateful to have been given this opportunity and look forward to doing the same for others one day.”
