Canadian Police have adopted a new strategy to attract new recruits. The Provincial Police of Ontario are showing off their Corvette Z06 police car at the 2023 Canada International Auto Show in hopes of wooing young officers to join them.
Corvette Z06 police car on display by the OPP Highway Safety Division. The supercar is wrapped in police colors and OPP stickers. It also sports a ‘3-088’ sticker, which is said to represent the racing numbers of Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. While the Z06 may have been wrapped just for this occasion, it does feature red and blue lights.

The Corvette Z06 packs a mid-mounted 5.5-liter V8 engine featuring a flat-plane crank, dual top cams and dry sump lubrication. It makes 670 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, which would be perfect for a chase car. Unfortunately, this car is used purely for promotional purposes.
It would be great to see Z06 chasing bad guys. It reminds us of all the high-adrenaline pursuits we do in NFS Most Wanted.
