Last week, we shared the first leaked images of the production-spec Bugatti Bolide. The photos came out just as the company was preparing for an official reveal. The fact that they just released a teaser means that the launch is imminent.
The teaser image features the Bolide with exposed carbon bodywork. It continues the ‘X’ marking lights up front, but as we’ve reported in our previous post, Bugatti has made a few minute changes to the track hypercar.
The second teaser reveals one of the revisions made to the Bolide aero package. As you can see, there are four grilles on the front fenders, as opposed to the two on the concept.
In addition to the modified aero package, the Bolide will also receive some design changes to the interior. You can see the production-spec Bolide interior here.
The Bugatti Bolide uses a heavily modified version of the Chiron’s 8.0-liter W16 engine. It is said to make 1850 hp and 1364 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG and all-wheel drive system.
Bolide is claimed to have a power-to-weight ratio of 0.67 kg/hp and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.17 seconds, while its top speed is around 328 mph.
