Benetti has revealed photos and details of the Oasis 34M, which debuted at last year’s Cannes Yachting Festival and is the second model in a lineup, reuniting the studio that designed the wildly popular Oasis 40M.
British studio RWD returned to exterior styling, which included a nearly vertical bow and styling cues borrowed from the car’s design, such as silver trim that helps accentuate the taut lines.
New York-based Bonetti/Kozerski Architects was responsible for the interior design, bringing the warmth and naturalness of outdoor teak indoors, to create a relaxed atmosphere dominated by bleached Canaletto walnut. The layout is open and fluid, while the custom-designed furnishings take inspiration from ocean waves and are combined with hand-picked iconic pieces from leading Italian design brands.
The 113-foot fiberglass superyacht has a 25-foot beam and consists of the lower deck, main deck, upper deck, and sun deck, with accommodation for 10 guests in five staterooms and a crew of seven. The Oasis 34M has a top speed of 16 knots and a range of 2,700nm at 10 knots, sufficient to complete transatlantic crossings.
The cruise ship’s signature is the Oasis Deck, which includes feet in water the swim platform and open aft cockpit are set five steps up. The Oasis Deck includes the key features that have made this concept so successful in the Oasis 40M including a central outdoor infinity pool, which is surrounded on three sides by sunpads.
Two drop-down bastions increase the size of the deck, establishing closer contact with the water while providing protection from waves, while increasing visibility to the water. The cockpit also includes an enclosed area, with sofas facing each side, while guests have a clear view of the Oasis Deck from the main deck interior, which begins with the dining area followed by the lounge.
The forward master suite on the main deck “was designed as an intimate cocoon-like space”, according to Benetti, while the lower deck includes four guest cabins and crew quarters ahead.
The upper deck had an open semi-enclosed aft deck, indoor lounges, wheelhouse and a foredeck with sofas and sun loungers. The sun deck has a center dining table, long bar, front sunpad and a back lounging area.
Parquet on the main and upper decks is coordinated with the teak used outdoors, while ivory leather adorning the ceiling complements bleached walnut paneling with a ribbed design on the vertical faces.
“Oasis 34M is the perfect answer for the active and curious owner who wants a dynamic, less formal lifestyle and is always looking for exciting adventures. Oasis 34M is an invitation to rise and sail towards a unique experience of exclusive encounter with nature,” said Benetti.
“This highly innovative concept meets all the needs of contemporary owners who today, more than ever, are choosing to return to a life lived with emotion and close engagement with water. More than just a boat, the Oasis 34M is all about lifestyle.”
