Airspeeder Announce Two-Year Broadcast Deal With FOX Sports Australia

Australia, 30 January – Airspeed very excited to announce an innovative two year broadcast content deal Australian Fox Sports which will bring exclusive, cutting-edge flying car racing content to audiences across Australia.

The new programming lineup features highlights from the first EXA Airspeeder Series Race in South Australia, the series “Finding Extreme Pilots” and “How to Build a Flying Car” look at how eVTOL vehicle built, designed for the more established enthusiasts of Australian motorsport technology. The 30-minute show targets a tech, sci-fi, and electric motorcycle conscious audience with a passion for futurism and a deep love of behind-the-scenes danger.

In addition, the inaugural race of the 2022 season of the pioneering racing series Airspeeder EXA was also immortalized by the sports production company Aurora Media Worldwidewhich executive produced the documentary Road to Flying Car Racing, to give audiences a behind the scenes look at the season, and the advanced air mobility technology that underpins it.

The show, co-created by the in-house team at Airspeeder and supported by Aurora Media Worldwide, will showcase the latest in flying car technology and give viewers an in-depth look at pilots, team, and technology that makes this cutting-edge sport possible. With exclusive access to Airspeeder and Aeronautical Alauda cutting-edge racing series, Fox Sports Australia will be the go-to destination for fans looking to experience the future of motorsports.

As well as making motorsport history, Alauda Aeronautics, the technical and manufacturing team of the pioneering Speeders competing in EXA and Airspeeder races have created an engineered and digital ecosystem for electric flying car (eVTOL) racing.

It is an outstanding technical achievement delivered by a team drawn from some of the most renowned names in Formula 1, motorsport and advanced aerospace development. This includes World Championship winning engineers from Ferrari and development talent from Boeing, Airbus, McLaren, Jaguar Land Rover and Rolls-Royce.

To support this historic first race, they built a race control station, a pilot control station, a private 5G network, Augmented Reality (AR) Sky Path, engineering and team control stations, similar to those seen in traditional elite motorcycle racing. In addition, they must develop the race rules and a full suite of safety, logistics and race management protocols. In turn, the technology used in racing is a snapshot of what our cities will use in the next decade to support the rise of the electric flying car (eVTOL) as a viable means of passenger transportation.
