BMW emphasized a futuristic EV interface that takes advantage of the windshield. The peak of sales of ICE vehicles is past and the peak of oil is only a few years away. And how does the 7-Eleven charging network form? This and much more, here at Green Car Reports.
Department store chain 7-Eleven has plans for an ambitious EV charging network, the company said Thursday. It aims to become one of the largest charging networks in North America, with multiple charging stations in locations across the US and eventually Canada, plus support for CHAdeMO and CCS charging — as well as Tesla with adapters.
BMW has confirmed that its Neue Klasse EV family, arriving from 2025, will feature a much simpler dashboard and a full windshield panoramic head-up display—as the brand teased in its i Vision Dee concept earlier this year.
And according to a recent report, the world market for internal combustion vehicles is in “structural decline”, with sales of ICE vehicles already down 20% from their 2017 peak. Peak oil demand for transportation is now shifting into 2027 — much faster than even forecasted a few years ago.
