The first images of the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GT have leaked online. The new model is expected to make its official debut later this year.
The model seen in the leaked images is said to be the AMG GT 43. It has a Panamericana grille with vertical slats, swept-back headlights, custom-fitted door handles and black AMG-specific wheels.
The new Mercedes-AMG GT will be based on the Modular Sports Architecture (MSA), which also underlies the new SL. Though, the two cars look identical, except the first one is a coupe.
Like its predecessor, the new AMG GT will likely be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, developing up to 570 hp. The same engine is available in the SL convertible. The Coupe can use a 9-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear axle. However, we cannot rule out the all-wheel drive version.
