While new models are always exciting news for automotive enthusiasts, an even more exciting moment came when Lego announced new models. For 2023, the company has announced four new models in Lego’s Speed Champions Series. This year, the latest brand to get a brick-built version is Pagani, with its Utopia model.
Porsche 963 LMDh
The Danish company has announced many models – one of which is the Porsche 963 LMDh. Porsche first showcased this car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. In fact, Porsche will debut this car at the Rolex 24 hours Daytona. The 280-piece set will retail for US$25.
Utopian Country
Pagani Utopia is the third model in the automaker’s lineup. Pagani Utopia generates 852 HP. Pagani is launching this hypercard in September 2022. The 249-piece Lego version also features a shod minifigure in Pagani-branded racing kit.
Ferrari 812 Competition
The next model to be launched for 2023 is none other than the Ferrari 812 Competizione. After all, the car comes with a V12 engine with a maximum rotation limit of 9,500 rpm. It is the highest revving road legal car from the Italian automaker. This Speed Champion set has 261 bricks.
McLaren Solus GT and F1 LM
Last but not least, Lego’s final offering for the new year is a unique dual-car set from McLaren. The building bricks of the F1 LM from the 1990s and the latest McLaren Solus GT can be picked up by fans of the brand. The single seat track only car from McLaren is quite rare and very hard to find. Fortunately, we hope that the Lego version will become more widely available.
Also, Lego is likely to launch this set in March. Not to mention, the Danish company charges US$ 24.99 for single and US$ 34.99 for McLaren double. Depending on the location, there may be a delay of several days.
